Improve the Look of Your Bathroom in Five Simple Steps

While you may think that your bathroom looks just fine, you’ll be amazed at how a few small changes can have a big positive impact on its overall look. Follow these five steps and you’re guaranteed to appreciate the benefits.

Get a Shower Curtain

If you’re currently using a glass door, then you should consider getting rid and investing in a good looking shower curtain. For one thing, there’s nothing stylish about a see-through panel, whereas a well-chosen curtain can really brighten the place up.

But make sure to choose something that matches other aspects of the bathroom – the window curtains, bathmat, towels etc. This option also has the added convenience of creating more space, and making it easier to get in and out of the shower.

Organise Everything

Making sure you have ample storage will really help you out. If everything has a set placetropikal towel then your bathroom will be much tidier, and you’ll minimise the risk of losing something important. Plus, it will look a whole lot better.

Whether its shelves, cabinets or a good place to hang that Tropikal Towel of yours, decide what you need and arrange everything in an appropriate manner. Toothbrush and toothpaste in a pot by the sink and your makeup by the mirror.

Fix Your Tiles

This might not be a lot of fun, but fixing broken and cracked tiles will ensure a consistent, clean look throughout the room. You’ll be amazed at how much better everything looks when you have smooth walls and flooring.

You might even fancy re-tiling the entire bathroom, which isn’t as big a job as it sounds. Tiles are generally quite cheap and, with a little practice, relatively simple to install. Repainting can also put a positive spin on things, but isn’t absolutely necessary.

Replace Certain Fixtures

You don’t need to go overboard and get rid of all your cabinets, but simply updating them can have a big impact. Get yourself some new handles, towel racks and maybe a few light fittings. Even change your mirror.

Add Some Colour

While most bathrooms are typically white/light coloured when it comes to walls, tiling and fixtures – with accessories, you really have the chance to brighten things up.
